Our original Magpie T-shirt is by Raymond Andrews, a member of the Mono Lake Tribe. Mt. Tom is
silhouetted in the background with a beautiful Black-billed Magpie in iridescent turquoise and purple colors. The basket artwork is a traditional design the artist calls the "Mountain and Lake" motif. The Black-billed Magpie is a common year-round resident in Mono and northern Inyo counties, and was adopted by the ESAS as "our bird".
In addition to the magpie T-shirt, Keith Hansen has offered his fine artwork of Sierra Nevada birds,at right.
T-shirts are for sale (of course!). Proceeds go to ESAS for use in local conservation and education programs. The artwork is printed on 100% cotton high quality t-shirts. Shirts are available in a variety of sizes, styles, and colors. They may be viewed and purchased at Spellbinder Books, 124 S. Main, Bishop.
