Sighting

I did a hike today in Nine Mile Canyon (extreme SW Inyo). Had a very good variety of birds and saw something like 35 - 40 species. New for the canyon list were Robin (the first I've seen since fall), Black Phoebe, and Pine Siskin. Also, had an Orange-crowned Warbler. For those who like flowers, it is amazingly gorgeous. At least as many species of flowering plants as there were birds.
