3 Mountain Bluebirds (2 males and one female) were seen on Saturday, Mardh 12th, 2005 near the corner of Iris Drive and Cardinal drive in Aspendell around 3:30 pm. Also in the area between 129 and 140 Iris drive, we saw one female Purple Finch (blurry streaks on breast and strong facial pattern), a dozen Cassin's Finches, both males and female, a dozen Gray-crowned Rosy-Finches, several Clark's Nutcreckers, White-breasted nuthatches, Pygmy Nuthatches. Mountain Chickadees, and a Downey Woodpecker.
