Sighting

On Saturday, March 12th and Sunday, March 13th, 2005, we saw a beautiful male Eurasian Wigeon on the main pond at the Bishop City Park in downtown Bishop. This is a wonderful place to learn your waterfowl and to get great pictures; the ducks are so close and very use to people. Great close looks at numerous male and female American Wigeon, Mallard, several Ring-necked Ducks, a couple Less Scaups (males and females, Buffleheads, Canada Geese, Gadwalls, Ruddy Ducks, American Coots, California Gulls, and a couple Ringed-billed Gulls.
