Sighting

Had good looks at a female W-HWO on a cottonwood tree. I was south of E. Line St. 1/3 mi along BCC. This might be the same bird I had in my yard last week. I also had an interesting Vireo about 1/2 mi south of E. Line St. Dark bill, gray mantel and underside, lighter in the belly area, 2 wing bars, medium length primary projection, yellow edging to the secondaries, and a washed out looking spectical around the eyes. It only gave a Vireo-like, short call notes, somewhat similar to a Ruby-crowned Kinglet but not as sharp. I'm siding with Cassin's Vireo. This is on the early side for any Vireo species according to the Heindel Graphs.
