Seen from below, all white underside to body, head and tail. The wings were all white also except for dark patches in the wrist spots and dark primaries. The bird was seen near the mid pond (~4.5 miles N of the gravel works). Also present at the north springs were American Bittern, both Pied-billed Grebe and Marsh Wrens singing, a few duck species and other hawks, and other assorted passerines.
