The pair of Wood Ducks were at Bishop City Park in the creek, they were in colorful breeding plumage. Since they are cavity nesters, wonder if they have a nest-tree nearby. Cassin's Finches were singing in Marge's yard at the rear of the park and we had a male Myrtle Warbler e. of Senior Center. We moved onto Bishop Creek, north of East Line street to the area that has lots of thick brush and was flooded recently (friendly horses in the fence now). We had 4 different kinds of sparrows here together, 3 Golden-crowns singing, handfull of White-crown, 1 Lincoln's and a few Chipping Sparrows in alternate plumage. Kay spotted a group of approx. 15 Double-crested cormorants flying over (SE) in a "V" formation, also. We missed Jerry's curlews.
