On Friday (29 Apr), Tom and Jo, Larry Sansone, and Guy McCaskie heard the distinctive trill of a male Broad-tailed Hummingbird in our backyard. This evening (3 May), we heard and saw what we assume is the same individual. The trill was amazingly loud.  The bird had a gorgeous red gorget only in the throat, white feathering just below the bill, and a very long tail.  Fun bird.
