Bird first heard singing it's House Finch-like song with typical Vireo pauses between songs. Briefly saw it go in and out of a willow. This bird was on the east side of Hwy 395. The creek is intermitten here but the willows and other riparian shrubs are still holding on. This is the first time I've had a WAVI in this area.
