On 11 Sep in the last sun's rays we were able to photograph a White-winged Dove as it sat in the walnut tree in our backyard preening. This is the 3rd for our yard (22 Oct 1973 & 2 Sep 2002) and all fit neatly into the late Aug to late Oct fall window.
